Morocco poised to become a solar superpower with launch of desert mega-project

Morocco has switched on phase 1 of its 3-phase mega solar project. When all 3 phases complete in 2018, the farm will be the size of the country’s capital city and will be the world’s largest concentrated solar power plant.
